| Here's what Shawn is bringing to lucky Randolph Street Market customers: "The auditorium seating is from 1961 and was pulled out of a church in Houston. The lamp that is attached to the cylindrical base is an old headlamp from a Locomobile car that was manufactured from 1899-1929. The 3 floor lamps with cast iron bases were hair dryers from the twenties or thirties that I recycled into lamps. I have two English 3-speeds from the late sixties and early & 70's. A Philips and the others a Hercules both of which were subsidiaries of Raleigh. My main focus for buying a booth with you guys is to sell the auditorium seating. I've got 32 rows (140 seats) broken down and ready to go." |

| Mike Heavener, aka Heavy, is an incredible self taught artist and a
favorite at the Randolph Street Market! Heavy only sells his work
directly at Randolph Street and one other fair - and our Chicago event
has been huge for him. Work that has been bought at Randolph Street have
appeared around the country at many other shows including Roundtop and
Brimfield so we are his biggest distribution network. His work has a big
resale market and we are so warm and fuzzy about promoting him to the
world. He's iconic, he's amazing, and we're thrilled to have Heavy back
for another great season at Randolph Street Market! |

Rocking the ballroom stage will be Crystal McCann of Silktopia!
Crystal’s SILKTOPIA silk garments are all one of a kind. She hand dyes
each piece individually. She originally started out as a painter at the
Art Institute of Chicago, and stumbled into fabric design as a new
outlet for her creativity. Her work ranges from evening gowns and bridal
wear, to casual summer dresses and beach wraps. Besides clothing, she
has created a full line of hand painted purses, upholstery and silk
bedspreads. She continues to grow, expand, and push the confines and
limitations of what is traditionally known as fashion design.
Her
motto is, “Be bold, be original and unique, be a pioneer, be inventive,
be daring, striking, be imaginative, be true and honest to your vision,
JUST BE.” |

| It's February, which means although temperatures are cooling down, passions are heating up as we enter the month of love. This past weekend marked the beginning of Randolph Street Market's 2012 season with the first winter market, Passions and Vanities. Hundreds of Chicagoans and dedicated out-of-towners bundled up and braved the cold in order to hunt for treasures amid a glittering wonderland of vintage jewelry, timeless antiques, and couture fashion all under one roof at the historic Plumber Hall. In keeping with this month's amorous theme, we trolled the market for furniture to cozy up in, décor to set the mood, and housewares to make the fashion lovers in all of us swoon. |

these two do for attention? (Wait, they did that already. Damn!) |
